Smart water meter provider consolidates local presence
Aquiba, the specialist provider of smart meters for intelligent water networks, has today announced the opening of its Australian office, Aquiba Pty Ltd, in Queensland.
The office will be headed by Managing Director Michael Stevens and this step confirms Aquiba’s commitment to introduce its truly intelligent water metering concepts into Australia and New Zealand and to become a leading provider of smart metering technology into the region.
Aquiba launched its A200 smart water meter at Smart Utilities Australia and New Zealand 2010, and has already seen considerable interest in the technology. The A200 smart water meter has been designed to address the specific needs of these markets, and accurately measures water flow, even at very low flow rates. The unrivalled level of precision provided by the A200 means that even a dripping tap or small leak can be detected, which has the potential to save water on every street.
